My name is Ishkar Iskandri, I am thirty eight years old. I am an owner of a drugstore, I graduated from chemical technique departement in Institut Teknologi Indonesia. I have a lot of interests in sports and martial arts. I go to the gym to train three times a week. Everyday at home I have my own schedules to train myself. I also join two martial clubs, aikido in Takiotoshi Nagare Budokan Bandung and judo in Judo Bandung Institue they have practice schedules twice a week. I choose these martial arts beacause I believe that reacting from an attack is better than to start one, I am also sure that it is the best way to win a fight.

Before I joined Takiotoshi Nagare Budokan Bandung, I learnt about aikido in Aikido Bandung Aiki Jutsu, under shihan Kushadianto. I learnt it for three years until I got my 2nd kyu, since then I have been continuing my lesson in Tokiotoshi Nagare Budokan Bandung under shihan Mury Trisrizky, whom is led by shihan Kobayashi Hiroaki the vice president of Tokiotoshi Nagare Budokan. He manages the south east asia region of aikido and has full responsibility to the president of Tokiotoshi Nagare Budokan. I joined Nagare Tokiotoshi budakon Bandung from 2nd Kyu. and for more understanding in techniques, I have been joining every examination from 7th kyu.
The more I learnt about aikido I realized that most of aikido moves are based from judo techniques. Therefore I joined Judo Bandung Institute to learn more about judo techniques to master aikido roots.

I believe that one’s deeper understanding in the roots of japanesse martial arts will always thurst knowledge, wisdom, skill to one’s mind, body and soul, the atheet must expand their skill or understanding by challanging themselves in gainning gold medals.
There for I would like to sought deeper understanding in judo particulary in technique, theory, coaching method and judo history. In the fact there are only few Indonesian atheleets were able to win golds medal in judo international competition, encourage me to become judo trainer in near future. I wish to have a chance to train Indoneasian judoka to be more competitive in judo international competitions.
