The mission of the Commission on Diversity at Northwestern Health Sciences University is to facilitate the development of a culturally competent University. The scholarships were established in the year 2005/06, with generous donation from Dr Liu lit-mo, MBE, JP. Scholarships of HK$100,000 each per academic year will be awarded to successful applicants, covering tuition fee, hostel and other academic and living expenses.
Each scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to 3 years, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.
The scholarship will be awarded to a student who has good academic standing and a good track record in community services. For candidates of comparable academic merits, the scholarship will be awarded to the candidate with better proven records of community services.

$500 scholarship given four times per year. International students may apply with a short essay about why you’re in debt and why the scholarship will help you attend an educational program. More and more people worldwide are finding it harder to afford to go to college because they’re in debt. Many students work full-time, get financial aid and if they are lucky, grants. Even so, they’re still in debt, and they can’t seem to get out of debt regardless of how hard they try. That’s why we created the Get Out of Debt Scholarship.

The $500 Get Out of Debt Scholarships are being offered in honor of all the people who simply need a little help with their higher education bill due to credit card and other debt. The university currently operates a Partial Scholarship scheme for self-financing international applicants paying fees at the full overseas rate on most full time courses. International applicants who meet the criteria are eligible to apply for an award of up to £1,000 per annum for the normal duration of the course (with the exception of the placement year of a ’sandwich’ course when the standard placement fee applies).

The Ohio University Southern Scholarship and Open Horse Show is scheduled Sept. 23 at the Ohio Horse Park in Franklin Furnace. Admission is $5 for adults.

Scholarship vouchers will be awarded as part of the scholarship show that starts 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23. The open show is set to begin at 5 p.m. that day.
