			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES) present you 2009 Master Scholarships University of Glasgow.</strong> CRCEES aims to create a world-class cadre of researchers who will enhance the UK&#8217;s understanding of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. A consortium of the Universities of Glasgow, Nottingham, St Andrews, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Strathclyde, and the West of Scotland.</p>
<p><strong>Suitably qualified applicants from any branch of the Social Sciences and Humanities are invited to apply for Masters studentships and Postgraduate language diplomas for study in the 2009-10 academic year.</strong><br />
Applications are invited for the one-year MSc in Russian and East European Studies, University of Glasgow and for intensive one-year Postgraduate diplomas (PgDip) in Russian, Polish, Czech Serbian/Croatian and Slovene language.<span id="more-152"></span><br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ph.D. researchers who conduct Ph.D. research within the scope of a cooperation between the University of Groningen and an institution in a developing country including Indonesia.<br />
Value and purpose of grant :  The grant will cover expenses incurred in travelling to and from the Netherlands (a maximum of 4 times) and the living costs during the stay at the RUG. A moderate research budget can be granted, if judged necessary by the academic supervisor.<br />
Grant award period :  In the case of Ph.D. researchers from developing countries, the grants will usually be awarded for a maximum of a four-year period.</p>
<p><strong>Other details :</strong><br />
 Part of the research should be conducted in the home country and part in Groningen.<br />
The criteria for approval cover the following topics:<br />
1. Academic excellence. This is shown by the academic performance of the students and may be confirmed by letters of recommendation from university professors.<br />
2. The contribution of the candidate’s education in terms of strengthening the scientific capacity in the domestic development country.<span id="more-147"></span><br />
3. The perspectives of contribution to a long-term linkage between the university in the developing country and the University of Groningen.<br />
4. A proper balance between male and female candidates.<br />
5. Spreading over various disciplines (faculties).<br />
6. Regional spreading over various continents.</p>
<p><strong>Eligible candidates for scholarship grant:</strong><br />
 -have a good knowledge of the English language.<br />
 -be in good health, so that health insurance in the Netherlands can be<br />
arranged.<br />
 -be available for the whole period of the fellowship and be able to take part in the entire study programme.<br />
 -have no other means of financing the study.<br />
-Their education should strengthen the academic capacity.<br />
- the applicant should be employed by a research institute or university in a developing country<br />
- the application should also be supported by this organisation.<br />
- the University of Groningen must be able to provide an academic supervisor who will be responsible for the scientific supervision of the research.</p>
<p><strong>Applications must include :</strong><br />
In principle, applications for research grants may only be submitted by individuals from developing countries if endorsed by a professor of the University of Groningen and with the support of their home institution / partner university. The application should contain an elaborated research proposal or pre-proposal. The application may also be submitted by the academic supervisor at the University of Groningen or at the home institute in the developing country.<br />

<p>New Hall has generous funding available for graduates, especially in relation to the size of its graduate population. Gifts by BP enable us to offer support to a number of overseas candidates each year. The Körner studentship and the college&#8217;s own Overseas Bursaries provide further funding opportunities. <p><strong>4. The Stephan Körner Graduate Scholarship</strong><br />

Subject: Philosophy, Classics and Law<br />
Value: £3500 per year<br />
Number: 1<br />
Notes: The online application form (see above) should be submitted at the same time as the University GRADSAF, and should arrive no later than 1 April. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University aims to acquire a good international reputation through increased involvement in the exchange of students and/or researchers and in joint research projects.</strong> It&#8217;s called Engineering Science 21st Century&#8221; Program! &#8220;Engineering Science 21st Century&#8221; is a special program taught in English for Master&#8217;s and/or Doctoral Courses.<br />
The Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University had launched the special English taught course for foreign students who have no accessibility of Japanese. </p>
<p>These Programs as follow:</p>
<p>1. Special Program of &#8220;Engineering Science 21st Century&#8221; for Master&#8217;s and Doctoral Courses Taught in English for enrollment in April 2009</p>
<p>2. Special Program of &#8220;Engineering Science 21st Century&#8221; for Master&#8217;s and Doctoral Courses Taught in English for enrollment in October 2009<span id="more-144"></span></p>
<p>3. Special Program of &#8220;Engineering Science 21st Century&#8221; for Master&#8217;s and Doctoral Courses Taught in English for enrollment in October 2009 (Sponsored by Japanese Government Scholarship)</p>
<p>Students are trained and supervised with the use of English so that the students are not requested to learn Japanese to take their Master&#8217;s/Doctoral degree.</p>
<p><strong>Applicants are requested to submit enclosed application forms by registered mail (EMS) to the office of Graduates Section, Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University, not later than 19th of December 2008 for enrollment in April (Non-sponsored) and in October (Sponsored by Japanese Government Scholarship), and not later than 31st of July 2009 for enrollment in October (Non-sponsored).</strong></p>

<p>Beasiswa program gelar pascasarjana tersedia bagi perorangan yang tertarik untuk mengikuti program-program pendidikan dan penelitian dari East-West Center sambil menempuh studi pascasarjana di University of Hawaii. Degree fellows have opportunities to participate in graduate certificate programs offered in leadership studies, international intercultural studies, population studies and natural resource management that enhance their degree studies. Other opportunities include invited participation in the Center&#8217;s research projects in several areas of international study including politics, governance and security; economics; environmental change; population and health; education; and Pacific islands development. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Group Visits to Germany by Foreign Students for Study Trips / Study Seminars and Practicals</strong>. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) funds Study Visits and Study Seminars and Practicals in the Federal Republic of Germany by groups of foreign students under the direction of university teachers.</p>
<p>I. <strong>Funding Objectives</strong><br />
In the case of Study Seminars and Practicals, the programme aims to encourage a policy of reciprocal invitation, although this does not constitute a condition of support, which means that funding can initially also be given for visits in only one direction.<br />
Cultural events (e.g. concert trips) may be funded if the focus is on subject-specific meetings between students and the relevance to higher education is proven.<br />
A maximum of one application per year can be considered per department, institute and applicant. Required/mandatory excursions or measures which have already been carried out cannot be funded.<span id="more-136"></span></p>
<p>II. <strong>Target Group and Length of Stay</strong><br />
Funding can be provided for groups of students who are fully matriculated in their third semester or higher in a respective degree programme at a foreign university and who travel under guidance and direction of a university teacher. Groups must be made up of at least 10 participants and must not, as a rule exceed 15 persons. One university teacher may additionally be funded as an accompanying person.<br />
Group Visits and Study Seminars and Practicals should last no less than 7 days. Funding is available for a maximum 12 days (including travel days), although the stays may last longer.</p>
<p>III. <strong>Funding</strong><br />
The DAAD takes out health, accident and public/private liability insurance for each funded group. Due to the limited financial resources, the DAAD reserves the right to reduce the level of funding. It is assumed that the universities or other sponsors (e.g. support associations, companies from business and industry) will contribute to the overall costs, so that the personal contribution to be made by participants remains at a reasonable level.</p>
<p>Regulations applying to Indonesia (among other countries)<br />
a) Programme planning<br />
The DAAD plans the programme design. Wishes and preferences stated in the application form will, as far as possible, be taken into consideration. However, it is likely that cuts or changes will be made to the programme due to decisions reached by the selection committees. The DAAD provides a travel guide fluent in the agreed group language who is responsible for the smooth running of and compliance with the programme drawn up by DAAD Head Office</p>
<p>b) Meals and accomodation<br />
As a rule, groups will be accommodated in twin or three-bed rooms in hotels or youth guesthouses/hostels. The DAAD pays the subsistence costs (meals and accommodation) for the group (including for the group leader and, where appropriate, bus driver) during the stay in Germany.</p>
<p>c) Transport<br />
The DAAD decides on the choice of means of transport. In many cases, a coach/bus will be used to ensure that the visit programme schedule can run smoothly. In the case of groups that cannot travel to Germany with their own coach/bus, the DAAD can hire a coach/bus for travel within Germany. If the group travels in a coach/bus not hired by the DAAD, a seat must be available for the DAAD guide; in such cases, the DAAD will pay the fuel costs for travel within Germany. For some programme points, however, use of public transport may be more suitable. The conditions will be advised on an individual basis.<br />
The DAAD regrets that it is unable to pay any international travel costs.</p>
<p>IV. <strong>Application papers</strong><br />
1. Application form (download here ) ; including budget and list of participants<br />
2. Reasons for and contentual description of the programme for one subject area, including a precise list of the visit and tour preferences, both in terms of subject-related (academic) content and of German area studies content. Vague or generally-worded descriptions (e.g. visits to museums, universities) are not acceptable.<br />
3. Schedule (in tabular form)<br />
4. Description of the contentual preparation for the group trip (e.g. preparatory seminars).<br />
5. Proof of contacts  on the German side (in the case of Study Trips), especially in higher education (e.g. by sending invitations or letters of confirmation).<br />
Proof of contacts on the foreign side (in the case of Study Seminars and Practicals) who state their opinion on the importance of the Study Seminar and Practical specified in the application and on how this seminar or practical is integrated into the academic progress of the foreign participants.<br />
(General agreements, cooperation agreements and so on are not, on their own, sufficient proof and can only be submitted as support for the proof of contacts)</p>
<p>Applications must be submitted in such good time as to ensure that they reach the DAAD  by the following deadlines (Date of Receipt at the DAAD in Bonn).<br />
- 01 February for trips to begin at the 01.06 (DAAD decision made at the mid of April)<br />
- 01 May for trips to begin at the 01.09 (DAAD decision made at the mid of July)<br />
- 01 November for trips begin at the 01.03 (DAAD decision made at the mid of January)<br />
Applicants are recommended in all cases to use the most recent version of this information Sheet and the corresponding Application Form when submitting their application.</p>
<p>V. <strong>Study Trips</strong><br />
Applications may be placed by university teachers from foreign universities. Applications must be written in German or English and submitted to DAAD Jakarta Office one month prior to the deadline specified above. DAAD Jakarta will forward the applications to the DAAD in Bonn together with a statement of opinion.<br />
Before placing the application, please inquire the DAAD Jakarta Office as to the latest date by which the application must have been submitted (recieved) there in order to ensure that the application reaches the DAAD in Bonn by 01 February, 01 May respectively 01 November.</p>
<p>VI. <strong>Study Seminars and Practicals</strong><br />
Applications may be placed by university teachers from German universities. Applications must be submitted to the DAAD via the International Office (Akademisches Auslandsamt) of the German university.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Paramadina Fellowship 2008</strong> adalah program  Universitas Paramadina yang bekerjasama dengan para mitra (Adaro, Astra International, BlitzMegaplex, Chairul Tanjung Foundation (Trans-TV), Djarum, Fund Asia, Garudafood, Northstar Pacific, Radiant Utama, Republika, Salim Group, Sinar Mas Group, Tabloid Kontan, Tempo Magazine, The Jakarta Post, Triputra Investindo Arya, Abdul Latief, Ahmad Ganis, Fahmi Idris, Gita Wirjawan, Jeffrie Geovanie, Soegeng Sarjadi, Sofyan Rambe) yaitu memberikan beasiswa kepada 100 siswa dan lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau sederajat yang memiliki potensi akademis maupun non-akademis untuk mengikuti pendidikan (S-1) di Universitas Paramadina.<br />

Paramadina Fellowship 2008 ini berlaku bagi calon mahasiswa yang berniat untuk menempuh program sarjana di seluruh program studi yang tersedia di Universitas Paramadina yaitu Manajemen, Psikologi, Teknik Informatika, Falsafah dan Agama, Hubungan Internasional, Komunikasi,  Desain Komunikasi Visual dan Disain Produk.</p>
<p>Program Paramadina Fellowship 2008 terdiri dari:<br />
<strong>1. Paramadina Fellowship Kategori I</strong><br />
<strong>Kualifikasi:</strong><br />
    â€¢ Siswa kelas 3 atau lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau sederajat, baik dari sekolah swasta maupun negeri, dengan  nilai rata-rata NEM atau STTB atau Rapor kelas I, II dan III minimum 7.50<br />
    â€¢ Termasuk 10 siswa atau lulusan terbaik di kelas selama 3 (tiga) semester<br />
    â€¢ Maksimal berumur 22 tahun pada tanggal 1 Januari 2008<br />
    â€¢ Berprestasi baik di bidang akademis atau non-akademis<br />
    â€¢ Memiliki kecerdasan emosional dan jiwa kepemimpinan<br />
    â€¢ Keaktifan dalam kegiatan organisasi intra dan ekstra sekolah maupun kemampuan berbahasa inggris atau bahasa asing lainnya merupakan nilai tambah<br />
    â€¢ Memahami dan menyetujui semua persyaratan dan ketentuan yang berlaku dalam program fellowship ini</p>
<p><strong>Cakupan Pendanaan Fellowship:</strong><br />

    â€¢ Biaya studi selama 4 tahun kalander akademik. Penerima Fellowship diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan studi dalam 3.5 tahun.<br />

    â€¢ Kemungkinan mendapatkan pelatihan dan magang selama masa studi di perusahaan-perusahaan donor<br />
    â€¢ Peluang penempatan kerja atau mendapatkan tawaran kerja dari donor ketika selesai studi S1 Biaya studi selama 4 tahun kalander akademik. Penerima Fellowship diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan studi dalam 3.5 tahun.<br />

    â€¢ Kemungkinan mendapatkan pelatihan dan magang selama masa studi di perusahaan-perusahaan donor<br />

<p><strong>2. Paramadina Fellowship Kategori II</strong><br />
<strong>Kualifikasi:</strong><br />
    â€¢ Siswa kelas 3 atau lulusan SMA atau sederajat yang bertempat tinggal dan berasal dari sekolah di luar Jabodetabek<br />
    â€¢ Siswa kelas 3 atau lulusan Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) atau sederajat, baik dari sekolah swasta maupun negeri, dengan  nilai rata-rata NEM atau STTB atau Rapor kelas I, II dan III minimum 7.50<br />
    â€¢ Termasuk 10 siswa atau lulusan terbaik di kelas selama 3 (tiga) semester<br />
    â€¢ Maksimal berumur 22 tahun pada tanggal 1 Januari 2008<br />

<p><strong>Ketentuan berlaku:</strong><br />
â€¢ Siswa yang mendapatkan program beasiswa ini harus menyelesaikan masa kuliah dalam kurun 4 tahun kalender akademik.<br />
â€¢ Siswa yang tidak mendapatkan nilai IPK min. 3.00 sebanyak dua kali akan dinyatakan gagal  dan tidak lagi mendapatkan beasiswa untuk penyelesaian sisa masa studi<br />
â€¢ Nominasi ini akan gugur dengan sendirinya apabila pendaftar dinyatakan tidak lulus UAN</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Follow-up Research Fellowship &#8211; The Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) for Former International Students in Japan to researchers who have previously come to study in Japan from a developing country/region and are currently active in education, research, or government in their home country/region.</strong></p>
<p>The Follow-up Research Fellowship extends to those researchers an opportunity to conduct short-term research with academic advisors at universities in Japan, and is intended to assist the development of education, research, and public administration in developing countries/regions, and to advance the academic/scientific research and international exchange for Japanese universities.<br />

Former international students who wish short-term research in this fellowship program must satisfy all the following conditions.<br />
<strong>Qualifications:</strong><br />
â€¢ To have nationality of a country/region listed in the attachment (PDF: 134KB).</p>
<p>â€¢ To currently work in education, research, or government in their home country/region (employees of private businesses are not eligible).</p>
<p>â€¢ Previous resident status in Japan was a â€œCollege Studentâ€.</p>
<p>â€¢ To have graduated from faculty or completed master/doctoral course in a Japanese university.</p>
<p>â€¢ Age is 45 or younger as of April 1, 2008 (i.e., born on April 2, 1962 or after).</p>
<p>â€¢ At least 5 years have passed since they returned home after studying in Japan as of April 1 (i.e., returned home on March 31, 2003 or before).<br />
<em>Note:</em> If the candidate has stayed for more than 90 consecutive days in other countries/regions after returning to his/her home country, the length of that stay must be excluded from the total length of period after returning home.</p>
<p>â€¢ To have been accepted by the president of the host university as foreign researcher in accordance with the aims of this fellowship program.</p>
<p>â€¢ To be certainly able to obtain a visa to enter Japan.</p>
<p>â€¢ To have never been a recipient of this fellowship in the past.</p>

â€¢ Regulasi pemerintah di bidang telekomunikasi dan konsekuensi bagi industri selular.<br />
â€¢ Kontribusi operator selular dalam percepatan pembangunan daerah tertinggal.<br />
â€¢ Masa depan industri selular diantara perang tarif murah. <span id="more-97"></span><br />
â€¢ Mencari layanan bernilai tambah selular paling efektif dan bermanfaat bagi publik.<br />
â€¢ Masa depan 3G di Indonesia.<br />
â€¢ Konvergensi IT dan Telekomunikasi serta keuntungannya bagi masyarakat.</p>
<p>Persyaratan:<br />
â€¢ Terbuka bagi masyarakat umum dan wartawan media cetak dan online.<br />
â€¢ Tulisan telah dipublikasikan di media cetak/online (bagi wartawan) serta dipublikasikan di media cetak atau website atau blog (bagi masyarakat umum).<br />
â€¢ Kurun waktu publikasi/penerbitan Juni 2007 hingga 13 Oktober 2007.<br />
â€¢ Tulisan sesuai dengan tema.<br />
â€¢ Setiap peserta dapat maksimal mengirimkan 3 judul karya tulis.<br />
â€¢ Karya tulis sedang tidak diikutsertakan dalam lomba sejenis.<br />
â€¢ Panitia XL Award 2007 Writing &#038; Photo Competition tidak diperbolehkan ikut serta.</p>
<p><strong>2. Lomba Foto</strong><br />
Tema:<br />
â€¢ Selular dan kebutuhan masyarakat telekomunikasi.<br />
â€¢ Edukasi dari operator selular kepada pelanggan dan masyarakat.<br />
â€¢ Penerapan 3G dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.<br />
â€¢ Keberadaan jaringan telekomunikasi dalam mendukung pembangunan daerah.<br />
â€¢ Kepedulian Industri selular terhadap masyarakat dan pelanggan.</p>
<p>Persyaratan:<br />
â€¢ Fotografer diharuskan mengirimkan 2 lembar foto dicetak di atas kertas foto ukuran 30 x 20 yang telah dipublikasikan di:<br />
       &#8211; Media cetak nasional/daerah (khusus wartawan) dengan disertakan bukti penerbitan.<br />
       &#8211; Media cetak atau blog/website pribadi dan umum (untuk peserta umum).<br />
â€¢ Kurun waktu pemuatan adalah Juni 2007 hingga 13 Oktober 2007.<br />
â€¢ Peserta dapat mengirimkan maksimal 3 karya untuk dilombakan.<br />
â€¢ Tema dan Caption ditulis pada selembar kertas yang direkatkan di bagian belakang foto.<br />
â€¢ Foto yang dikirimkan tidak boleh dinamai dan harus bersih dari tulisan/coretan.<br />
â€¢ Identitas fotografer ditulis pada amplop, dengan informasi: Nama, Alamat, Telepon/Handphone/Email.</p>
<p><strong>Hadiah Lomba</strong><br />
Juara I untuk tiap kategori dan jenis lomba Rp 18.000.000,-<br />
Juara II untuk tiap kategori dan jenis lomba Rp 13.000.000,-<br />
Juara III untuk tiap kategori dan jenis lomba Rp 7.000.000,-</p>
<p>Tiap pemenang akan mendapatkan:<br />
Sertifikat + Trophy + Voucher isi ulang Rp 200 ribu selama 6 bulan + Hadiah Hiburan.</p>
