University of Manchester England prepare postgraduate scholarship bursary of £2,000, which is automatically deducted from student’s fee at enrollment. The full 2009-10 Overseas Fee for Masters program within the discipline of Geography is £10,800. Must be used for full time study in the 2009-10 academic year. This funding is available to international students, including Indonesia student.
Bursaries are for study on Postgraduate Taught Masters within the discipline of Geography, as detailed below:
- MA Human Geography
- MSc Environmental Governance
- MSc Environmental Monitoring, Modelling & Reconstruction
- MSc Geographical Information Science

This funding is available to students undertaking the following types of study Postgraduate taught only.

Centre for Russian, Central and East European Studies (CRCEES) present you 2009 Master Scholarships University of Glasgow. CRCEES aims to create a world-class cadre of researchers who will enhance the UK’s understanding of Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. Ph.D. researchers who conduct Ph.D. research within the scope of a cooperation between the University of Groningen and an institution in a developing country including Indonesia.
Value and purpose of grant : The grant will cover expenses incurred in travelling to and from the Netherlands (a maximum of 4 times) and the living costs during the stay at the RUG. A moderate research budget can be granted, if judged necessary by the academic supervisor.
Grant award period : In the case of Ph.D. researchers from developing countries, the grants will usually be awarded for a maximum of a four-year period.

Other details :
Part of the research should be conducted in the home country and part in Groningen.
The criteria for approval cover the following topics:
1. Academic excellence. This is shown by the academic performance of the students and may be confirmed by letters of recommendation from university professors.
2. The contribution of the candidate’s education in terms of strengthening the scientific capacity in the domestic development country.
